Teaching Assistant – Learning Support

Time (31.25 hrs per week)
39 weeks per year
Grade: 4 Scp .4 £13,736 (actual salary)

We require a Teaching Assistant to work with students, staff and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our students who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. The focus of this role is on teaching and learning in the classroom, supporting teachers in the delivery of predetermined learning activities, implementing learning, education, therapeutic programmes, monitoring pupil development and providing feedback.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills to support, challenge, motivate and inspire students. We require someone who can work as part of a team and independently as required.

The role requires unsupervised working with children and is a regulated activity as defined in the latest version of Keeping children Safe in Education.

Cleaning Operative

Time (Various Hours available)
40 & 52 weeks per year contracts available
Grade: 2 Scp .1 £9.25 per hour

Brine Leas School have opportunities available for Cleaning Operatives to join our team.

The successful candidates will have a good knowledge of cleaning and high expectations of hygiene standards.

The role will entail cleaning of classrooms, washroom facilities, halls, kitchens, corridors and staff offices.

Experience is not essential for this post as full training will be provided.

Midday Assistant

Salary: Grade 2 SCP .1 – £9.25 per hour
10.5 hours per week – 38 weeks per year

We currently have a vacancy for Midday Assistants who have the knowledge and skills required to ensure the safety and supervision of pupils during the lunchtime period. This post will include some cleaning duties.

We require someone who can work as part of a team and independently as required.
